National Cabinet agreed to a National Planning Reform Blueprint to outline:
- planning
- zoning
- land release
- other measures to improve housing supply and affordability.
The Blueprint comprises of 10 measures and 17 supporting actions agreed to by National Cabinet.
National Cabinet agreed that planning ministers will report on progress against the measures twice-yearly, including the development of a metrics framework to support reporting.
