Taskforce on Industry Self-Regulation - Final Report

The former Minister for Financial Services and Regulation, the Hon Joe Hockey MP, established a Taskforce on Self-Regulation to inquire into and report on aspects of self-regulation in Australia, chaired by Professor Berna Collier, Professor of Commercial Law at the Queensland University of Technology. Three documents were released in 2000.

The main body of this report "Industry Self Regulation in Consumer Markets" addresses the six broad issues that the Taskforce was asked to inquire and report on.
