Review of the amended unfair contract terms protections – Final report

The report examined how changes to the unfair contract terms laws are working.

The review found that the reforms have been broadly successful. The reforms expanded the protections to a larger class of small businesses. They strengthened the regime by introducing civil penalties.

Treasury prepared the report for the government.
