The Governance working group has discussed technical issues relating to the integrity of the superannuation system. These include the design and implementation of heightened requirements for superannuation fund trustees to manage their fund’s assets prudently and in the best interests of all the members of the fund and a risk-based system for holding financial resources against operational risk.
