The review of the MBR program is designed to ensure investment in this core national economic infrastructure is delivered within a reasonable timeframe and budget. It will provide a comprehensive understanding of the program and recommendations on how to best achieve its intended objectives.

The review is being led by Mr Damon Rees, who brings considerable expertise in driving complex, digitally enabled transformation. Mr Rees is supported by a secretariat comprised of staff from Treasury and other agencies.

A written report will be provided to the Government by 30 June 2023.
