The Australian Government is establishing a new $100 million Outcomes Fund from 2024–25 and is consulting with stakeholders on the design.

The Outcomes Fund will make contractual payments to states, territories and service providers based on the delivery of agreed, measurable outcomes in local communities.

The Outcomes Fund is one of the initiatives in the $199.8 million Targeting Entrenched Disadvantage package announced in the 2023–24 Budget.

The package lays the foundations for community‑led change, facilitates genuine partnership and capability building alongside key stakeholders, and complements universal social service offerings.
