To help inform the Treasury’s evaluation of the recent foreign investment reforms, the Treasury invites interested stakeholders to submit written submissions on the operation and performance of the reforms. Submissions should be lodged before midnight AEST on 31 August 2021.

While stakeholders are welcome to comment on any element of the reforms, or Australia’s foreign investment framework more broadly, the Treasury has prepared a Consultation Paper outlining a number of key matters stakeholders may wish to comment on, in order to assist stakeholders in framing their submissions.

Note: Confidential submissions have not been published. Submissions that contain content that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, threatening or abusive have not been published on the website.
