We maintain a database for people interested in an appointment to a position in a Treasury portfolio body.

You’ll need to register your interest to be considered.

Appointment options

Appointments:

  • can be for statutory or non-statutory bodies.
  • can be part‑time or full‑time positions.
  • may not need you to relocate if they’re part‑time.
  • are often paid positions. Remuneration is generally set by the Remuneration Tribunal.

Eligibility

Some positions require knowledge or experience in areas, such as:

  • economics
  • law
  • taxation
  • accounting
  • administration of companies or corporate governance.

Experience in senior management, as CEO or on a board is highly regarded.

Register your interest in a position

To register your interest, you’ll need to create an account in our recruitment system.

You’ll need to do this even if you already have a profile with us. This is because the registration process is different from our normal recruitment processes.

To register your interest:

  1. Visit our portal to view the expressions of interest Board appointments register
  2. Select ‘Sign in’ and then ‘Register for recruitment’
  3. Read and ‘Accept’ the privacy statement
  4. Complete your application.

You’ll be asked to provide your:

  • qualifications and education details
  • employment history
  • details for referees
  • supporting documentation for your suitability.
