Following an independent assessment of problems in the building and construction industry, the Building Ministers’ Forum developed a roadmap for reform.

The implementation plan aims to restore community confidence in Australia’s building and construction industry.

It sets out:

  • national priority reforms
  • a summary of reforms underway in states and territories
  • planned reforms and proposed timeframes for each jurisdiction
  • industry involvement in the process

The Building Ministers’ Forum changed to the Building Ministers’ Meeting in 2020.
