Australian Government response to the ASIC Enforcement Review Taskforce Report

In December 2017, the ASIC Enforcement Review Taskforce reported to the Government in relation to its review of the enforcement regime of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC); the Taskforce made 50 recommendations. The Government response to the Taskforce report agrees, or agrees-in-principle, to all recommendations of the Taskforce. The Government response to the Taskforce report was released in April 2018 in conjunction with the Taskforce report.
