The APS Employee Census (the Census) is a confidential survey of all eligible employees who are employed under the Public Service Act 1999. It typically runs over the month of May, closing in early June each year.
It is the key mechanism through which Treasury surveys staff on important issues such as: health and wellbeing; attendance; performance management; leadership; capability; and general impressions of the APS and the Treasury as an employer.
The results of the Census helps Treasury to identify areas of strong performance, opportunities for further development, and track how the department is progressing on key organisational strategies, initiatives and workplace culture.
