Australian Government response to the Senate Economics Legislation Committee Report – Housing Australia Future Fund Bill 2023 [Provisions] and related bills

On 22 March 2023, the Senate Economics Legislation Committee handed down its final report into the Housing Australia Future Fund Bill 2023 [Provisions] and related bills.

On 22 February 2024, the Australian Government tabled its formal response to the Senate Committee's inquiry.

The government response recognises the importance of boosting the supply of all housing for Australians and notes that the establishment of the Housing Australia Future Fund is a significant milestone in the government's housing agenda.
