The Government has provided funding for a community awareness and education. The campaign started at the end of June 2011 and the website was www.bankingreforms.gov.au. The website was retired in 2015.
Along with the banking reforms the Government has also developed the MoneySmart website to help ordinary Australians take steps to improve their personal finances. It provides consumers with independent information so they can be better informed when making financial decisions. Moneysmart is designed to help consumers take action on matters that will make a difference to their lives.
