The Infrastructure and Commercial Advisory Office within Treasury has been dissolved and its functions absorbed into other business areas.
We provide commercial and financing advice to Australian Government agencies, the Treasurer and Cabinet.
To support Australian Government infrastructure and commercial investments, we provide Australian Government agencies with:
- advice under the Budget Process Operational Rules
- capability building.
The new arrangements recognise that Australian Government agencies are developing in‑house capability and can source external advice from a range of service providers, such as the Department of Finance and commercial organisations.
