On 9 August 2017 the Review into Open Banking in Australia released an Issues Paper for public comment. The Issues Paper explains the context and background for the Government’s decision to introduce an Open Banking regime in Australia and outlines issues the Review will be examining, consistent with its terms of reference. Interested parties were invited to comment on aspects of any or all of the issues raised in this paper by 22 September 2017. This consultation is part of the Review into open banking in Australia. If you are interested in being included in further consultation opportunities on issues relevant to this Review and have not lodged a submission, please email OBR@treasury.gov.au expressing your interest.
